TWO

This is when the sun was starting to go down and is one of my favorites series in the bunch with the soft light!

Awhile back when I was again looking for some volunteers to do a photoshoot, I was talking with J who graciously volunteered. Looking back it was maybe 1-2+ years ago and things came up so it was challenging or laziness on my part but I got to collaborate with J for the shoot.
In afterthought, I was glad of the timing for the photoshoot as well-because of how much J has grown to be since then and I hopefully captured some of that on digital "film".

ARIZONA

Some landscape photos from travel:

Woodpeckers live in cactus! They say that it is because cactus provide really great protection from heat and cold. I do wonder how they peck through with the cactus needles.

Inside of a cactus. Neat-o.M-i-c-k-e-y M-o-u-s-e! :)

Woodpecker home! See the hole at the top of the cactus? Love how the branches frame the cactus :)

An artist Chiluly (I think that's the spelling) was featured in the desert botanical gardens. He is the guy who did the ceiling work at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. You know those glass shells? (A t least that's what I had heard)There are trees too and not just cactus in Arizona. Gorgeous!

WEDDING

This is the first time where I was truly focused more on wedding photography than being a guest. The past couple times I took pictures here and there and yes this time I came as a guest too but was hoping to take more than the normal amount. I do realize that I still need an incredible amount of practice than I have and truly saw how different wedding photojournalism is than portrait. A challenge but able to learn alot. Thank you again so much N and D for the opportunity to capture some photos.

On to the photos!

Some photos of the beautiful and amazing details of the wedding:
